Sunday April 18

Distance - scheduled for 15 mile run, 30 minute cross trainer, 1:45 run, 30 minute cross trainer.
Not a great day, my hip and glutes were hurting towards the end of the run.   I forgot to mention that i went to the hernia doctor on Wednesday and while i do have a hernia on both side he doesn't think that is what's causing my pain.   It's close to the area that hurts but not it so I have to go to a sports doc.  I'll keep you posted.

Nutrition - a bowl of special k before, steak and eggs after.

  1. Hi Pete :) Sorry I have not posted anything for a bit, first I had phemonia..ugghh what a dam long process to recover from.. I can finally breath! Then my daughter was a victim of her car stolen and domestic abuse so I have been dealing with that, running her around , the boys and at the court house A LOT.
    Ok so your training looks really good... you just need to keep your head into it and do not let the pain of these injuries take over your main thinking..it just distracts you. I hear no complaints on nutrition so that is great! I would try and stretch your your hip flexors a little more also stretch your lower back. OKay I will hope to write a little more before we head up to Wildflower this coming Sat :) So needed!
