Saturday January 16

Disatnce - 30 mile bike, 4 mile run.  Had to cut the bike a bit short due to frozen toes but felt great doing hill repeats.  The four mile run was harder then I hoped, not from tired legs but from a stamina point of view.

Nutrition - cytogainer and water on the bike then a power gel before the run.  After the run started feeling quezy but think it was the expired power gel.

  1. Okay..no more shortened workouts...
    they make little booties that slip right over them bike shoes :o) get some, you have 50 miles Sat. You should have finished out your last 10 miles on the trainer..I realize it would have taken 10 minutes to get it set up but if you have a flat you would be off your bike for a time...no more cutting corners. I do not think it was the gel I think it is because your system is not use to process yet. How long did the bike and run take you?
