Thursday December 10

If anyone needs a good coach or knows someone who needs one let me know and i will put you in touch with mine.  She ROCKS!  Really knows her stuff.  I will post her comments from now on so you can see what I mean.

Distance - 2000 meter swim.    Found out today that I'm not the only one having severe post nasal drip after swimming indoors.  Another teamate gets the same thing and another had to quit because he keeps getting
sinus infections.  Any advice?

Nutrition - Pancakes before.  Trying to get used to having some food in my system although I ate only one half hour before so it certainly wasn't digested.

Song of the day - One way or Another  by Blondie

  1. Two words.."Nose Plug" I wore it in my first few tri's...then after swimming if you rinse nasal cavities with a neti pot...you will be set...it can be found at your local drug store...the chlorine is what is bothering your nose and it is just trying to rinse it out..hence your nose running non stop after swimming :o)
Great job on getting food into your belly..I am glad you did not over eat...you just want to see what works :o)Hint..pancakes are probabaly not the best food to work with...try your total cereal, oatmeal, half PB&J..but everone is different so do experiment..just as you first start to see how your stomach does it should be lighter foods to digest :o) What was you fluid intake?
    Keep up the good work!
